Engineered by Mike Valentine, the Valentine One is the culmination of over 20 years of advanced engineering radar systems experience. The Valentine One radar detector has a patented warning system relying on both forward- and rearward-facing radar antennas (front and rear laser sensors too). It goes beyond Ordinary Detectors by telling you -- on every alert -- where to look, and how many to look for. Once you have this intelligence report, you can easily decide when to defend, and when you can simply shrug off a non-threatening alarm.

Valentine One uses front and rear antennas reporting to an onboard computer to analyze and precisely locate every radar threat, either by direct reception from one antenna or triangulation between both antennas.

Do you like to keep a low profile? I know I do. The concealed display can move all of V1's visual warnings to a remote location others can't see, but you can. Which in my opinion is a major plus to having it up on your front window for everyone to see.

The Concealed Display Kit (optional) makes Valentine One less noticeable to others outside your car. It allows you to operate Valentine One with its lights blacked out, yet have a fully operational display module down low in the car where it's not visible outside keeping it safe from thefts.

As far as range I have heard arguments for almost every radar detector out there from the Passport to Cobra, but it is all hype the valentine one has the greatest threat alert. It is and will continue to be the best on the market.
