The October '03 issue of Car and Driver has a wealth of Acura information. There is a preview of the 2004 TL (the pictures that had been posted were dead on, but why is the car always in silver?!?) and so here is a part of the article:
"As noted, this taller, wider interior is crammed with an unprecedented array of standard equipment, including a superb DVD-based surround-sound audio system, XM satellite radio, and a hands-free cellular phone setup, as well as safety gear such as electronic brake force distribution and curtain airbags." Pricing is predicted to start at about $33,500.
In other news, they say "official S2000 details won't be released until the Tokyo show this month, but our spies suggest yes: more displacement (2.2 versus 2.0), a little more torque, a little more elbowroom, a modest face lift, lower revs, and a softened suspension."As for Acura, it mentions the aforementioned TL, and the TSX, too, and the MDX gets face-lifted and goes up to 265 horsepower. RSX, RL, and NSX are unchanged; the CL is dead.
