Fan coming on when car is off! HELP!

Hello all who read. My problem is that I have a fan that comes on when the car is shut off. It has been documented to come on as long as 2 hours post shut down. Needless to say, it is killing my battery!

It is on a 1990 Acura Integra LS.

Has anyone had this happen to them?
Is it something I could repair myself, or is it better left to a qualified and trained professional? (??)

Well I know my fan stays on after i shut my car off but not for 2 hours. I wonder what controls that .. some kind of thermastat i would think. Let me know what happens cause my friend has this same problem. Good Luck

I should probably clarify that the fan will stay off for 2 hours after turning the car off and the fan will THEN come on. Once it is on, it won't turn off unless I rotate the ignition key for the electronics to come on then turn off.

Yea that is pretty jacked up. Never heard of that before.
