Reduced weight for more horsepower (15 to 30 hp boost on average). Weighs 6 to 13 lbs. vs. the 14 to 34 lbs. for conventional flywheels. Ultra-light weight means energy used to turn heavy stock steel flywheel is used to turn your drive wheels. Reduced mass also allows engine to rev faster and gets you into power band quicker. Incorporates a specially treated steel friction insert for the contact surface. Insert is replaceable and far stronger than the contact surface on a stock cast iron flywheel. Ring gears are heated, then cooled to shrink in place and finally pinned so they will never slip or fly off. Perfect matches for Kevlar® clutches (sold separately). Shipped separately from factory.
