Tri-Y
headers are the best design for street cars. They are more forgiving to
camshaft design and other tuning factors, which you have little control
over. Tri-Y headers promote a wide powerband, but at the cost of a lower
peak power output. This is a better choice for daily driving.

four into one header design is best suited for race cars, because they
create a higher peak power output.
