I had the same problem except i didn't have the special tool to hold the pulley, so i had to improvise. Anyways, what u need to do is get an impact socket (anything else will break under the stress) jack your car up really high (use a hoist if u can) and use a breaker bar to get some added leverage. Good old fashioned brute strength is the key to your problem. So break out your lead pipes and strongest wrench and just crank away at it.

I have an Acura Integra GSR and I recently attempted to replace my timing belt, but I could not remove the crankshaft pulley bolt. Does this bolt tighten and loosen like any other bolt. I have the special tool to hold the pulley but I ended up breaking two adapters any suggestions or tips for the do it yourselfer
