I have a 1991 acura integra, I just replaced timing belt and radiator, now I have stalling problems when engine is cold. Check engine light comes on at no normal interval as a Code 43 which is the fuel sensor system. Dealer ran diagnostics said is was O2 sensor, replaced it with an OEM one still receiving engine light still low idle and stalling problems when cold. Dont feel like paying dealership $200 for every guess. Please advise.
if it was a problem with the O2 sensor it would have come up as an O2 sensor failure in the computer. Is your car OBD-II or OBD-I? once a code is stored in the computer it should stay there till the codes are cleared... so when does it come on? Besides, the dealer shouldn't have given your car back until it was fixed or at the very least told you what else was wrong, or did they tell you what other sensor was bad?

DUDE! i have the same problem! I got a check engine light yesterday and so far i have replaced my fuel filter. There are a number of possibilities with my engine, i recently changed the oil and used full synthetic, and i over-revved it yesterday just shortly before i recieved the code 43 from the ECU. i have yet to change the O2 sensor, but its next up on my list. The haynes manual recomends the evaluation of the fuel pressure, the fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump and the O2 sensor as well as an inspection of the vaccum lines. if you figure anything out, pleeeease let me know as soon as possible, lol, its really starting to piss me off, it feels like im chasing ghosts..... Good luck!
