|
|
| Ok here is the set up i'm thinking of doing. I'll have intake, exhaust and headers. Then i'll be installing the Venom 400, and also the Jet Import ECU Upgrade. With those last two upgrades i should be pushing around 200 horsepower. Well according to what they claim. Will i need to do anymore upgrades to my engine if i'm pushing that much horsepower? Injectors, fuel rails, etc. |

Nah... that wouldn't be necessary. Your stocks can handle that with ease _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti |

Actually you would probably need to upgrade to bigger injectors..... and why would you want a piggy back and a "best guess" chip? Just save the money and do it right and get either a Hondata or an AEM EMS. Or at least a FPR and some type of AFC. _________________ DC4's are the shizzle!!
No, you don't need a fuel rail! Unless you are pushing some crazy numbers!! |

| Whats wrong with the Venom and the Jet EMC? And what are those other things you are taking about. I have no idea what a Hondata or the AEM EMS is. |

There isn't anything wrong with the Venom and Jet EMC. Basically, with those 2 you just plug it in and it guesses what the best engine set up would be. The hondata and or AEM EMS are actually programable systems so you can tune the engine however you want. They give you a lot more options. This is a really simplified explaination, you can check out their websites for more info:
Hondata: www.hondata.com
AEM EMS: http://www.aempower.com/product_ems.asp _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti |

Thanks AI!
And Smith, it's better to spend now than to have to spend more later. _________________ DC4's are the shizzle!!

| Yes very true, and that looked like a great way to invest money into a car, but i have no where near that much money just to spend on my car. Could be a great investment for later on though. So thanks for the input. |
