I bought a 92 Acura Integra LS 2 years ago, I started having problems with it, and 3 months ago...the engine blew up...pissed oil..warped everything...my neighbor..being a mechanic, told me that this engine could not even be rebuilt.
should I:
A) Salvage the car(even if I had put a lot of money into it, and if so, how much would I make off salvage parts.)
B) Get the exact same engine ( if so WHERE?AND HOW MUCH, I cannot find any engines such as mine in salvage yards.)
C) move up 2 a b16 (losing some torque..might be more expensive)
D) OTHER (suggestions would be appreciated.)
(plus..if you make a statement, please tell me where I could find what you're talking about; website, address, etc.)
put a gsr motor in it or b16 would be cheaper...make sure u get a b16 tranni or gsr tranni though ...if you use the ls tranni it will be slow...too long of gears and b16 has no tourque to pull it through them
