I have a 99 Integra GS. When I bought the car neither the horn nor the cruise controll worked. The local Acura dealership said it would cost over $100 just to look at it and find out whats wrong!!! So I figured I would see if anyone else had the same problems.
When I press the horn button i hear a slight clicking sound both under the steering column and under the hood. When the panic system or the alarm itself is activeated I hear the same clicking sound.
When I bought the car the cruise controll didnt work. One night bout 2 weeks after I bought it, I was driving down the freeway with the main cruise controll switch on, and decide to push the "set" button for the hell of it. And to my amazement it activated!! It continued to work for about 3 days, then one day i went to set it, and it did nothing and has done nothing since then.
If anyone can help me with this I would appriciate it GREATLY!!!
Oh... I deleted your other post, no sense in having 2 of the same thread. As for your cruise control... I had a similar problem with my TPS sensor. My cruise control worked when it wanted to. One day i decided to unplug it and then plug it back in and I haven't had a problem since. Now your horn might not work b/c of a bad horn relay _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti

I had a similar problem with my horn. I would push the button and would hear a clicking and nothing else. It ended up being the wire connecting to the horn. First check where its connected to the horn in the front bumper, then trace it back to the relay.
