I have a 1996 Acura Integra GSR with the JDM Motor and I was wondering which better or which one i should get a turbo-charger or Supercharger...?I have the v-tech..But i found a turbo have adds 200-300 hp at a low psi

Which one should i get???

it really depends what your plans for the car are but if your lookin for cheap power turbo is def the way to go Smile

Each have there merits but if you boil it down a properly setup turbo is just more efficent. It can also allow for more tuneability.

Sports Car Magizine has been doing a story on the benifits of superchargers. This month was on centerfuge chargers take a look at it maybe it will help u decide.

I remember seeing an article (in SCC i think) where they supercharged and turbocharchged a teg or a civic. Damn, now I have to go find that article... I peaked my own curiousity.

First of all what kind of compression is your engine running, if its been setup for high compression then turbo is not the right choice they need low compression, if its not set up for high compression then turbo is the definite choice, only downfall is turbolag Razz

These days you don't really have to worry about turbolag as much as say back in the 70s and 80s. New lightweight composites make the turbines lighter and can spool up with less effort. But, you're right... they aren't perfectly effecient . Unless you plan on getting a turbo setup out of a WRC car. Those things are so sweet Smile no lag at all
