my antenna broke (it's froze in the up position - a broken/stripped cable, again) on my 97 integra gs-r.
i've been looking over some magazines and websites, with very little luck, on finding a suitable replacement.
not that there is anything WRONG with buying a decorative antenna, but i would like one that is stationary, functional and looks good.
anyone got a good set of resources where i can find something that fits this criteria? all i seem to find is either replacement components or non-functional items. am i out of luck and should i just buy a stick-on and call it cool? _________________
I'm in the same boat. You could try just hiting up the junkyards and find another retractable antenna of a wrecked integra. But if you really want a stationary antenna, i'm pretty sure autozone has a few universal antennas, i'don't know how well it would fit though.
My antenna is the last thing on a long list of to do's for my car.
You know what... go with the stick on... start a new trend _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti

I had the same problem. I had to rip my old antenna out, but turning the radio on and pulling the top of the antenna out. It should come out fine. Then go to autozone and buy a 24 dollar replacement. They work great. If you want a fixed antenna, buy an s2000 antenna on Ebay.
