Does anyone know what the PEO error code is on the cd player. It was in the middle of playing a cd when it just stopped . Now it rejects a cd after it is loaded in the unit. Is there a fix for this? My car is a 97 3.0 CL with a Bose system.
We had this same problem when we bought our son a '98 Acura CL last month (same Bose system). The car didn't come with an owner's manual, so we took it to an electronics place that works on CD players. It was a bad laser. It cost $165 dollars (which was also the same price that an Acura dealer quoted us) + labor (total cost: $215.00) to fix it. We told the guy it would be cheaper just to have Best Buy install a new CD player, but he said this system was a $1000 system, and you don't want to replace it with a cheap CD player. End of story!
