how do you get rid of a,,, possesion?????

hi,
the car is a 98 3.0cl. the car is haven major problems. the symptoms are tach, speedo lights cuts out and total on and off power loss.the battery was changed but it drained in a short time and needed a jumpstart. is it the altenator, or what?

Is it a total power loss, lights... engine and all? because if it is then it is most likely your altenator. But before you run of and get a new altenator have your battery checked at Autozone or some other parts retailer. If its a new battery that you know is good then it is most definately your altenator.

inside joke kinda. the lights and everythings going nuts, 12:00am. within a hundred feet of the local haunted house:) the car dies. were's the exorsist? creeped my brother out big time too:)

I have the same problem, everything starts to die, then the car shuts down, its a Acura Ledgend 89 Fully Loaded 2 Door, With Remote start.

I put a new alternator in the car. still the same old problems.

Any suggestions???

And What sould I test to see if it is my actual Alternator skrewin up.

Any common shorts that I should be aware of??
