If I can fix the ABS light...(it stays on).. The guy says something is wrong with the circuit board and that a "spcecial" switch is coming out soon that will fix this.
Otherwise, Its $800-- fix. I have to fix it to have it pass inspection.
Help!!! Im looking to see if such a switch really exists..as this will make or break the deal.. im thinking of buying it in the morning...thx! |

| there probable is a switch that you can wire up to bypass the light. The question is does the ABS system work? B/c the switch would just make it so that you don't see the light, and might not fix the problem that causes the light to come on in the first place. |

there is no switch for the abs. you can try have the system bleed first. that might help or fix the problem. when you star the car you will hear the abs pump going if it stays on for 120 seconds then the light will come on. try bleeding the system it might work. good luck

The ALB light can sometimes come on an stays on if the brakes are apply during
the system test when the car is started. Try removing the fuses ( for 3seconds) for the
ABS system and see if the system well reset. The fuses are located under the hood .

You may also want to check the connection from the battery to the ABS motor _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti |
