I discovered recently that the seals around my windows have gone bad due to heat and time. The water is'nt really getting in the car, except for when i accelerate after i start the car when its been sitting in the rain. but besides that its getting in the doors and ruining all the stuff inside (ive already lost a set of speakers and crossovers, and the window motors are going bad, this might just be due to time though..). My car was made in 92. My question is do i have to take it to a dealer to get it fixed or can this be done anywhere? also how much does it cost to get the seals replaced?

Any good mechanic should be able to any job! Although it is best to take it to a dealer if u can... they usually are the most competent and more familiar with any problems you might be having. As far as much as it costs, I really wouldn’t know b/c I don’t know anyone who has had that problem. But if I had to guess I would say 1-2 hrs of labor with parts may come to about 250$ if you took it to the dealer, I may be way off with that estimate.
