I just purchased my 98 3.0 CL in August, and as of yesterday my transmission failed and I am having it rebuit. I am very upset that the dealership where I purchased the car did not mention anything about transmission problems with these cars and also if there was a recall would they not know that and at least give the opportunity to have it checked out before the $2,000 repair bill? Needless to say I am not very happy at all. Is there any way that I can fight this situation?
