I met this guy and he said he'd me sell 4 koni 5-way adjustable shocks. It's a good price but he said they are white. I've only heard of yellow's, red's and black's (classic). Anybody know anything about white's? Also he's got a set of Eibach drag launch springs (also a good price). My car's a daily driver, plus I'm more into autocrossing than dragging and I don't think they are right for my application but he said they would be fine. An expirenced opinion would be appreciated.
Suspension setups are not my forte, but I've never heard of koni whites.
The Eibach launch kit is designed to improve off-the-line traction at the drag strip. During testing drivers saw 60 foot times reduced by 2 to 4/10ths of a sec. These kits reduce axle torque reaction by carefully matching linear and progressive rear springs. Progressive rate front springs greatly improve load transfer to the drive wheels during acceleration.
Also thes springs are stiff as hell, and putting them on a daily driver is just asking for trouble. You will feel every little bump you go over. You are right that kit is not very well suited for your application. The whole deal sounds a little fishy to me. _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti
