i need some info on stock upgrade injectors for a 95 LS..i swapped an integra motor into my civic, and im having problems...slight stumbling, especially in cold weather, horrible gas mileage (less than 15). i was getting 12 before i replaced the fuel filter.(and that's highway) car was sitting for about a year after it was wrecked. 27,000 miles. runs rich, backfires, black plugs. i think my injectors may be stuck open, so i'd like to upgrade instead of replacing...any info or troubleshooting would be appreciated.
Hmmm. Obvious troubleshooting tips, first:
Are the plug wires all in order and in good condition?
How's the cap / rotor?
Have you checked the ignition timing?
What about the O2 sensor?
As far as the injectors go, try the ones from your old civic motor. Depends what motor, but the B16A injectors are 240cc and are good up to 200hp. Not to say they wouldn't benefit from 270 or 310cc, but for troubleshooting and even daily driving, the 240's are perfectly acceptable.
Spark plugs are good, brand new Bosch Platinum 4's...
Cap, Rotor, and wires look good.
Timing is on.
Thought it was the o2 sensor, replaced it with the civic sensor. no change.
i'll try the civic injectors next weekend. thanks.
But do you know what injectors are compatible, for example the GSR injectors, or H22, that way i can try to find something on ebay. thanks
