I own a 1997 2.5 TL. About a month ago I was unable to start my car after repeated attempts. I tried to jumpstart it with booster cables, but no luck. After waiting about 6 hrs. later the car started with no problem. I recognized a pattern that after several hours of rain I would experience difficulty with starting the car. Then several hrs. after the rain stops the car starts with no problems. What is causing my starting troubles?
MAIN RELAY, I just thought I'd throw it out there one more time. _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti
it's as easy as changing a fuse, as a matter of fact its located right next to the under dash fuse box. It has a grey cover with a maroon connector. However, that isn't to say what is wrong with your car. I just said it because its such a common problem that causes symptoms like you described. _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti
Thanks 4 the suggestion. The first thing I tried though, was to change the spark plugs since I have never changed them. After putting in new plugs it started right up, in the rain even.
