Hey, I plan on doing the LS/VTEC on my '93. Since the rpm and horsepower curve will change considerably, is it recommended to swap out the tranny with a built-for-vtec from a gsr or type-R?
As a general rule any GSR or Type R tranny is good for LS/VTEC's. You can use your tranny, but use a VTEC built tranny if you can. Better safe than sorry! _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti
