Sup everybody.... new to the site but maybe you can give me a little help. I have a 92 integra GS 1.8 DOHC intake, DC headers, hi flo cat, catback exhaust. My car seems to run fine when dead cold but once it warms up it starts to stutter when accelerating and idles erraticaly. I have changed the plugs, they were white (running lean) the car ran fine for a couple weeks. Have put thought into changing fuel pump and FPR. Noone on hondatech would give me any helpful advice so i was hoping someone here would.
Thanks |

You might wanna take a look at your MAP sensor first. That could be your problem! _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti |

Thats what i would check next. Make sure its getting a good signal, then check the fuel filter. _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti |

| OK... now the teg wont start at all. All it does is turn over. I cant hear the fuel pump when i turn the key on. I know it should come on for a second or two to pressurize but im not hearin it. I need to know where the Relay is for it.... i know in hondas its under the dash near the fuse box. I want to narrow it down to the relay or the pump before i buy either. Thanks for the other reply btw. |

| OK checked for spark... no spark? Man this really sucks. I pulled the distributor cap off and looked at the rotor... seems ok.. a little wear though. Any suggestions? |

Tackle one problem at a time... first start of by testing u're main relay. U're right it is under the dash off to the right of the fuse box. Speaking of a fuses, don't forget to check those too (you never no you might have an open wire that is shorting out on a ground somewhere, it happened to me) I kept popping ECU fuses. Once you have your fuel problem isolated and fixed then move on to your spark problem. _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti |

| Well im startin to feel like i mite not have had a fuel problem. I feel as though the car ran so bad because the spark was weak. I pulled a plug and had my grampa watch it... not spark while i turned the engine over. Pulled the plug wire off the distributor cap and tested with a test light... nothing. The rotor looks a little worn but ive never payed any attention to one that was really worn so i wouldnt know. |
