Hello, all. Purchased my first Integra (1998 LS). Love the car other than I am having a new engine installed after only one month of ownership. Never had a LOW OIL indication, nor oil in the garage or driveway, etc. So, after no oil in the engine, loud camshaft and possible damage to the rods and pistons, I am having a new engine installed. Other than that, life is great.
keep an eye on your oil levels. nothing like finding out that u're consuming oil after u're down a couple of quarts. _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti

Yeah. You would think that after two weeks of having the oil changed, you wouldn't have to check the levels. It is kinda ironic, the time I have a shop change my oil and this happens.
Personally i'd be a little suspicous of that shop. How much oil did u loose? anything short of a giant oil stain or sending nuthin but black smoke out your tail pipe, won't really cause you to burn through that much oil in 2 weeks _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti
