Quick question for someone smarter than me on cars. I have a burned out dashboard fuel level light. Is there an easy way to change this? I'm assuming I need to take out the two screws in the "ceiling" of the instrument panel area - but I'm obviously missing a few more since it doesn't want to move. Any direction is appreciated. Thanks.
Those two screw hold in the trim piece. There may be a couple more on the bottom that could be hidden. You will have to play around with it. Sometimes clips are used and they can be a little reluctant to let go of the piece especially if the piece has never been removed. After you get that trim piece off, you will have to unscrew the gauge assembly from the dash and maneuver it passed the steering wheel. This can be tricky. Tilt the steering wheel down and you will eventually get it free. (Be sure to disconnect all of the wiring harnesses from behind the gauges before yanking it out of course). Once removed, I believe that you can easily replace the bulbs. Let me know what happens.
