really stupid question,, new to the Acuras

Hey guys I really need your help!!! I just bought a 91 Integra LS last night, and I LOVE it. Has 17" rims, body kit, lowering kit ect. Anways, when I got the car it had a really really hard time idling. It would go from 3500 RPM and drop down to 1500 RPM. Back and forth back and forth. Very annoying. I thought that I read somewhere that all you have to do is reset the ECU. So hey, it was cheap, took me 2 minutes and now it idles fine. BUT it idles at 3000 RPM. Not good. I think that the guy I bought it off of turned up the idle speed. And I cant for the life of me find it. Call me dumb... Im used to a chevy, very less complicated. Any pictures of were it is or a description would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks again!!

#2 im not sure about the b series engine but on mine there is a screw above the throttle body to adjust the idle

xfactor is right... How long does u're car idle at 3,000? b/c acura's when cold will idle higher than normal and gradually come down as engine temp rises.

Maybe that is what it is.. I turned that down, and I cant get it to idle lower than 2500. But yes, it was idling cold too. Were I'm living its pretty cold right now, so that could be it. Thanks alot, I'm going to keep screwing around with it. I'm loving the car. Have fun guys. thanks again!!

Is the idle speed right above the intake?? The only thing that I can see is that could be it is a little screw right above the intake. But that doesnt do a whole hell of a lot. Just makes the car idle a little bit lower but thats it. And it makes it hard to start sometimes.. So I'm thinking that I am totally wrong altogether.. I cant find it for the life of me.. Probably going to take it to a mechanic cause I'm afraid of messing something up. Thanks for tryin to help, I'll get it eventually.. Cheers guys!
