Not sure if this is where I should post, but I was not allowed to post in the maint or repair forums, inquired about this in the lounge. Anyways . . .
I have an 88 Integra RS (as if you could not tell by my handle, LOL). Recently failed smog due to NOx emissions, which points to EGR valve problems. However, with the OBDI, no codes are blinking on the ECU LED under the passenger seat. Chilton's describes testing procedures for the EGR, but has no info on where the EGR valve is located, only the EGR valve controls such as the solenoids, etc. Can anyone help me out with such an early model? Any help with locating it, or other reasons why NOx would be high will be greatly appreciated!
