|
| Ok i have 500 dollars to put toward my car. I already have a intake so I don't need that. I'm thinking headers, high flow cat, and muffler. What would be some more good things to get after those? If you were in my shoes what would you spend the money on? |

If you only have $500 then you are pretty much spent on the header and cat, but to answer your last question, this is the route I would go. _________________ DC4's are the shizzle!!

| Get the DC Sports 4-2-1 headers... those are awesome. As far as exhaust goes I guess that just depends on your preference and what kind of setup you plan on running. |

Well that all depends upon what you've got to spend. Hytech has the best header on the market, but it costs CRAZY cash. It also depends on where you want your power band location to be. A DC 4-1 is really good for GSR's and ITR's but if you own a B18B then you would probably like a 4-2-1 better as it will increase mid-range torque. As for exhaust.... well just shop around and make sure you get something w/ a big 3" OD pipe, as it will flow the best. But to get the most out of it, make sure that you replace the cat w/ a ID that matches your header collector and cat back. _________________ DC4's are the shizzle!!

if you want an exhaust with a lower tone i would definetly suggest going with a greddy sp or sp2 system. the db levels that it produces are under the legal limit, so it isnt too loud and you dont get that buzzing sound. they arent cheap however, (run you about $500-600) but i have the sp2 on my 94 teg and it sounds fricken awesome!! if you want a lower tone, i believe this is the best way to go, a muffler alone i just don't think will cut it. |
