when driving in first gear if i were to let go of the gas it would feel like the the jerks foward. Also when driving in 2nd going about 30km/h or less it will begin to lurge forward than back and foward again, untill i give it gas or just put it in neutral.
Is this supposed to happen? this is my first car with 5-spd. any ideas whats wrong or pointers on what i should do?

thx

It is quite normal for a manual car to act jerky while coasting in a lower gear, the engine speed is simply lower than that of the car hence the car jerking. Also avoid pulling you foot directly off the gas pedal, this will also cause the car to jerk.

Thats the cars way of telling you to try to be a little smoother with your footwork!
