Just simply wondering what motor I have? It's a 97 integra GS 1.8L. I know it's either a B12B or B12A. And specs like horsepower and torque if you know.

You were close.... it's a B18B, rated at 140 hp at the crank. 6900 RPM redline, and a 7200RPM fuel cut off.

I was wondering what was cutting out when i revved that high. Is there a way of stopping that from happening in case i get my power band to rev that high.

I do believe your rev limiter is programed into your ECU, so if you want to get rid of it you are going to have to reprogram or change out your ECU. I wouldn't recommend you do that, the easiest way to blow up your engine is to over rev it. That is why Honda programs rev limiters, to save people from ruining their engines.

OOOOUUUUCH!!! You were bouncing off the rev limiter?????!!!!!! That is very hard on the engine...... It is possible to make your engine where it will safely operate in a higher RPM range, but it is going to cost you!!!
