i recently installed aem cam gears on my 96 ls and the car wont start i am guessing that my crankshaft isnt lined up with the cams or something what could it be and the first time i tried to start it turns over but wont crank and i heard a pop and smoke cam out of my throttle body any ideas of what happened any suggestions just telll anything willl help.
