my acura integra was low on oil when i bought it baby had only a quart or less in it. i filled er up with 10-40 and after doing so i started to get a clikcking noise in the head, sounding like a lifter i belive. after all this i noticed in side the hood it reccomended 10-5 oil for replacement. could this have caused this lifter to start clicking and should i do a complete oil chage with the reccomened oil? also with the change of different oil do you think the lifter will stop clicking or am i in need of some other repairs? thanks

Do a complete oil change. I'd recommend Castrol GTX with a Mobile 1 or K&N oil filter. Clicking sounds are usually caused by bad/dirty/old/not enough oil, but just to be safe if i was in your position i would do a full oil change. I did one recently with Castrol GTX 10w30 and car runs great. either 10W30 or 5W30 should do the trick. _________________ *--The Driver Makes The Car, Not The Engine--*
