my friend and i were doing a brake job on my car, changing rotors and brakes. i guess when we were trying to get one of the rotors out front passenger my buddy missed with the hammer and hit the tread were the lug nut would screw into. now when i had to put that lug nut back it was hard to screw in. any ideas how i can get this lug nut in without striping it? i was thinking of griding the tread it's only the frist 2 tread that are bent. is this a good idea? any others?
Also can i drive with 3 nut on? will something happen if i do?
U can drive with 3 lugs on, but its not the best of ideas. I'd grind it down some, if that doesn't work you may want to break out the tap and die set! _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti
