How do you add ATF to the 2002 TL Type S? The manual shows you how to check the level, tells you what kind of ATF to use, and then says, "Check with your dealer on how to add fluid". Huh?

Is there a filler cap of some sort (and if so, where is it?) Or do you just add via the dipstick tube?

Everyone I know just uses a funnel and add ATF through the dipstick tube.

Thanks. I actually ended up going over to the dealer, and the parts guy, when he was selling me the ATF, showed some sort of diagram with a filler cap, but neither he nor I could figure out exactly where it was. He said it could be added via the dipstick tube as well. So when we went over to the service dept. to ask someone to point it out, the service guy said not to add ATF, but instead to have it looked at because of the transmission recall and special warranty. Naturally, as soon as that happened, it started acting normal! I'll take it over there next week.

Typical, everything works when you don't need it to. Laughing
