I own and drive an '88 Integra LS with a stick and a very strong engine and 169,000 miles on it. I'm thinking about going down to New Mexico with my dad and having him haul my car on a car trailer to save on gas and then bringing the car trailer back with me when I come back home to Washington (a 1200 mile drive). The trailer is a tandem axel flatbed trailer built to accomodate the average size automobile. If I do go, the trailer will be empty when I am pulling it. I'd like to know if this is safe or dammaging to my car or where I can find this information. Any help would be much appreciated. I'd take a different vehicle but the only other one I have gets like 5 mpg...
