| My temp gauge rises to Hot when sitting in traffic and then goes down to normal after I drive for a few seconds up to like 30mph...Do I have a bad thermostat or is it something more serious... |

It might be your radiator fans aren't turning on when they are supposed to!

I've said it a thousand times before, when troubleshooting your engine 'check your fluids first.'
