has anyone had any good or bad experiences with either of these

this vortech claims 226 hp

this jackson only claims 161hp

here is the jackson on sale for under $2000-would u say its a good deal even though its only gonna get the 161hp vs the 226hp with the vortech?

Lemme say this, most people haven't been really impressed w/ the JRSC or the Vortec on an LS engine. If you wanna go FI on the B18A or B then you should really think turbo for real FI gains. And the Vortec is just the compressor of a turbo that is attatched to your crank. It really is only for peak power and not much else, as it doesn't have a very good torque curve.

ok well scrath the turbo project for now.

$ just became a problem so i am starting a new thread.

i will remember that though when i get the funds: turbo, not supercharger on my LS. thanks
