I have a 1994 Interga (automatic) and lately the temperature gauge has been going out of control. Its fine one second then it flips all the way to the red zone then back to the middle then back to its regular place (which is at about a fourth of the way). Also, I have been experiencing a loss of power when I try to pick up some speed and its been pulling a little bit. I took it to the mechanic and he couldnt find anything wrong with it. Any ideas?
how many miles are on the motor, make sure it has water sometimes that can make the gauge fluxuate like that, power loss could be any # or combination of things, when was your last tune up? could be any # of sensors or your motors on its last legs have an acura tech take a look
Gauge misbehaving - My Acura did the same thing. When cold, remove the radiator cap and check the water level. Fill it up as needed. Throw the cap away and get a new one.
Lack of Power - Last time you did a tune-up including plugs, wires, air filter, dist cap, rotor, fuel filter, PCV valve, and checked all vacuum hoses?
Pulling to one side - What changed recently? Brakes may need to be adjusted.
