I'm really not sure, but for some reason i want to say that your computer calculates your average fuel consumption and the light comes on when there are 30 miles left of fuel. (I have no idea were i got this notion from so i can't guarantee it's validity )

I wonder if it's like my old Accord was and comes on when you have only 1 gallon left???? Anybody wanna try it out to see??

Considering i get 30 mile to the gallon, that sounds about right. |
