If you look at that paper it shows a really high HP peak, but that's it. It doesn't have a really flat torque curve. If I wasn't on a friends dial up I'd do some real searching and put some links in here, but I suck and my computer is packed away till I can find out where I'm going... I still ain't got a job offer.....sorry, back on topic.... the JRSC has a really flat torque curve from start to finish, where as the Vortec.... well it has one small peak and drops back down. What are you doing w/ the car? Drag? Street? AutoX? Road course? All of these are the things that you need to consider. The JRSC has the best over-all gains on a GSR that I have seen. If you were driving something w/ a B18A/B then I would suggest turbo if you were going FI and just leave the SC alone, as the gains from any SC aren't all that impressive to me. But then again, these are just my opinions.........................

No, you don't need a fuel rail! Unless you are pushing some crazy numbers!!

I would recomend getting a supercharger if you have vtec. Because vtec helps with the high end and the supercharger would help with the low end. But thats just me you do what you think would work out best.
