ok beggin for LOW PRICE (like darn near free) body parts

my poor new teg needs a LOt of stuff lemme list and if ya can help i'd appreciate it. i'm not tryin to get stuff for free really i could make payments on stuff just never can save money for purchases

drivers door
hood
front bumper
passenger front fender
passenger rear door guard
any and all mounting brackets for those parts
drivers rear glass

for now thats all the cosmetic things

i also need

passenger front wheel well contents the whole nine yards mine is bent back from a battle with a pole that the previous owner lost it still goes though i drive it more that 100 miles a day have to my only car got it at a steal too $800 still walkin tall from that one

Man, I'm telling you, your best bet is to find somebody that had one stolen, and just wants to get rid of the body (as that's usually all thats left). Or you will have to hit ebay like a big dog.

Hmm... that does make it a little more interesting.... lets condense like 3 threads on here into one. This one. So, I'll sum up the situation. You are like most of us, in that you are broke and work for less than nothing. You have a wrecked Teg that you got for $800. It is your only form of transportation for you and your 2 boys. You know what, not to be mean, but sell that sucker for like $2k and buy another car, or just deal w/ the fact that she ain't pretty, cause anything for an integra is gonna be $$$$$$. I'm not being an ass, I'm just letting you know. Tegs are one of the most sought after cars on the scene right now. The laws of supply and demand, demand that we pay out the ass for something as simple as a timing belt, or an intake, or exhaust. You won't be able to find any parts for a Teg for dirt cheap. Sorry.

Ok, like WHOA!! I just read another post of yours about how you have a T-boned CRV..... BUY A CIVIC and put damn near the whole CRV under it!!!!!! You will pay the insurance for a civic, but have a B20 powered monster. All for DIRT ASS CHEAP!!!!!!! I ain't play'n, that's what I'd do in your situation.

i know i was hoping to run into a mircale situation someone with spare parts and a really big heart or at least willin to let an honest guy make payments on stuff. unfourtunatly i think i'm gonna have to get those plastic z3 fenders off ebay for like 120.00 total i think they suck i'm all about the sleeper

You are going to have to spend 3X the money to make the teg anything near what a civic could be w/ that setup. And if the Teg is your only car, then I wouldn't go hacking into it to make it AWD. And besides you can pick up a civic w/ a blown engine for like $100 down in that area. (My little brother lives somewhere close to Houston.) Check your local area for some dumb kid that put a turbo on his civic and didn't get it tuned. Then you will have a commuter car so that you can do the things that you want to the teg...ie. AWD. Just thinking practically.
Oh, and it's ok about spreading around, I just wanted to get it all into one thread so that I didn't have to bounce around and answer the same ?'s time and again on different threads.

Thought i'd join the discussion... better late than never! HiddenDemons brings up a good point with the civic. The only reason I got my integra was because everyone has a civic, and for good reason. They are so cost effective and light, a leathal combination when it comes to building a sleeper. Buggsy i think your best course of action is to make yourself a nice little beater/commuter car and then work on your sleeper. You may want to check some of the junkyards as well for a nice shell.

ok thanks yall and i wasnt going to go hacking into my teg until i get something else to drive waiting on the insurance moolah from gettin t-boned. not making jokes about the crash though my wife died in that crash wasnt even my fault was gion through a green light when a camaro and an eclispe decided that thr red meant speed up anyway enough of my depressing babble i appreicate all the advice yall been issuing it helps me to talk cars with people in ways that yall may never understand haven't been able to crusie in quite a while
