hey guys im new to this, i am hoping to get some advice...first off i need to get a new radiator for my 97 acura integra gs, if im looking to uprage my car (eventually turbocharging), should i look into a preformance radiator or would a re-built one be fine? im also goin to get a 2.5" cat-back exhaust system, cold air intake and a header...i have heard of 4-2-1 headers and 4-1 headers...whats the difference?is one better than the other? and one more thing: if i am goin to get a turbocharger, will the exaust manifold replace the header?(when i was reading about headers and the chargers i got confused if the were seperate parts or whatnot)...any help would be awsome thanks...by the way check out this site i found its a really infomative guide for anyone planning on turbo charging their 90-93 integra..enjoy!

Sorry don't have enough time to write up a nice long response post
As far as the header inquire goes 4-2-1 vs 4-1has to do with when you want your power to kick in. A short run down on header choice 4-1 headers create power at higher rpms, where as 4-2-1 headers begin improving power at lower rpms. With 4-1 your hp will kinda spike at a high rpm, where 4-2-1 will begin improving at a lower rpm but will not spke like the 4-1 but rather increase gradually.
The 4-2-1 is much more beneficial in road racing because it increases your entire powerband. Where 4-1 is best suited for the drag strip because of the slightly higher peak in power at high rpms.

Just like AcuraImport said, about the differences in the header, and yes you will have to remove your header to put on the turbo manifold. As for a radiator, most people that I know that have gone FI on thier cars ended up replacing the radiator and the fans due to fitment. And you should get a 3" OD exhaust, as your turbo will spool much quicker w/ it and your car won't run out of breath. _________________ DC4's are the shizzle!!
No, you don't need a fuel rail! Unless you are pushing some crazy numbers!!
Oh... Good looking HiddenDemons, so nice to see good advice all over the place
Wampumbear, good luck! Anymore questions you know were to ask _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. ~ Mario Andretti
thanks again for the info...i have a quick question: would you know any more specific details about what type radiator and fans i should look into if i want to eventually turbocharge my car? (like you said, for fitment reasons) i have to replace it very soon or else my car will overheat way too much and i get permanet damage... i have been trying to search the web and the most i get is prices, dimesions, and thats about it...i really want to avoid spending way too much something i dont need...if not, would you know anybody i could talk to, or sites that i could refer to for help? thanks man
Please keep these kinds of things to the forum that way anybody that has these kinds of questions in the future can look there. Thanks![/quote] _________________ DC4's are the shizzle!!

Now to answer your question!! I don't personally know what size radiator to use, as I'm going to go N/A. You should check out the dimentions of the turbo setup that you are looking at. Ask the manufacturer if you would need a thinner radiator and fans. That would be the best route to go. _________________ DC4's are the shizzle!!
