IT SNOWED LIKE 1 INCH AND WHEN I TURNED ON MY CAR AND TURNED THE HEAT ON, WATER STARTED POURING OUT FROM UNDER THE GLOVEBOX (DASH).........I ASSUME THIS IS WHERE THE EVAPORATOR AND OTHER HEAT/AC STUFF IS (I MIGHT BE WRONG)....DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT IT IS AND HOW TO FIX IT???? ANYONE ELSE HAVE/HAD THE SAME PROBLEM???
wel not sure abou tthe whole starting of the ac/heat thing but there could be a leak in your cowl! theres a whole where air comes in to go to ur vents and if it leaks then water comes right in!
its located on the passenger side underneath the plasctic cowl!
lift the cowl, but be careful not to break it, then make sure the fitting is tight!

Have you experienced the same problem when its raining? I have, whenever it rains I get a puddle on my passenger floor. I've had it into the Acura dealership 3 times now. 1st time they said they fixed it by replacing the gaskets at the tail light, 2 days later it poured and still water. I took it back and they said they re-sealed the windsheild, door jambs and checked the heater box (this is where I was told to check).
It still leaks a little, but no where near as bad as it had been....
If you have a sunroof it is probably leeking from there. There are little drain holes on the side of the roof, you can see them when it is open. Buy a can of compressed air, they use it to clean keyboards, it is about 4 dollars at Home Depot. Spray it into these holes. They sometimes get clogged. I had it happen to me in my wife's Saturn, the front passenger car mat use to get soaked. This cured the problem.
