I have already asked this on the "new members" section but after looking through this forum I realize I should have asked it here. Here is the question - Anyone ever replaced a front lower ball joint on a Legend? - I have looked at the ball joint service kits but none of them say if they will fit the Legend or not - it looks pretty tight and probably will require special press fit attachments. Just wondering if anyone else had run up against this or not and what tools they used and where they purchased them

Thanks

I was thinking the same thing when I went to work on my integra the 1st time. I just used a universal ball joint remover/tuning fork to seperate the ball joint from the spindle. Acura has its own special tool (they usually do Evil or Very Mad). But the universal one worked just fine for me, but be careful not to tear any seals or anything.

If you go to some place like Advance Discount Auto (like i did) the guys there usually know what they are talking about, and will tell you if a particular kit would work for you or not.
