all right here is the thing. i went to a "chop shop" to find out if they could turn my 96 integra into a convertable. they told me that it wasn't a good idea, only cause the support beams wouldn't hold. and in time the frame would bow. so a year passed by and i thought that it would be cool to have a large sunroof, still keeping the door and window frames intact (it'll look kinda like the supra's top.) i still want to keep the original top, just make it with clamps and brackets. so yesterday i drove and drove and every shop i went to they said that they didn't have the plans for it. my question is this. Where can i find a plan to do this project. if anyone can help me i would be greatly appreciative. what tools to i need to do this myself. please i beg of you.

Is this what you're talking about?

You can't have a seperate hardtop for an Acura, ala Mercedes Benz. The roof is a structural support point. If you get hit head on, the car will fold like an accordion. They build the NSX with fortified cross beams just for that reason.
Hope this helps.
