I tried to post this in the repair section, but was not able to. I have a 97 Acura 2.2 cl. My driver side power window regulator wires have broken. The window would not move up , or down. I can get the part failry cheap. I took the motor etc out. I was wondering how hard it would be to repalce it myself, before i spend the dough. I have spent too much money, $5500 to be exact over the 5 years i have had this car. I want to try and fix things myself. Is there a easy way to replace this motor? Will i have to take th ewindow out? Im pretty good with mechanical operations, once i get some good advice. Can anyone help me out?

Yeah the repair forum is closed. sorry about that.

I've never done that on a CL but on an Teg which i'm 99.9% sure is the same procedure. It seems to be a fairly common problem among CL's, and yes u are going to have to take the window out. I wouldn't say its a particularly easy job to do, but manageble.
If you do decide to do it yourself please let me know! I am planning on adding a How-To section with pics and what not, and could I could really use some pics.
