I used Krylon spray paint in my car, and it seems to be holding up alright in the heat. the surface has to be clean and dry. you can't have have chemicals on the peice (armor all, or anything onlong those lines). if you do the paint on the surface will become holey as you spray. and runs constantly. to stop the running and blotching spray about 5-7 inches away. and apply about 3 or 4 coats. i used a clear sealer on mine thinking that it would give it a little better shine, But it didn't work out that way.
Oh and becareful with the passenger door, only cause in my case my wife has got nails and she starts to chip away the paint as she trys to open the door, kinda pisses me off.
