I'm thinking of buying a lowering coilover kit off of ebay pretty soon. And i just have a few questions before i go through with it. First off i'll would be getting one that allows you to lower your car up to 4 inches. would i have to buy new struts to. i'm not sure if they would bottom out by lowering it that much. And also lowering your car that much would i have to do any more mods to the front. such as steering or anything like that. Any feedback would be great.
First before you buy coil overs for your car, you need to ask what the spring rate is. the bigger the number the stiffer it's gonna be. Then you'd decide whether or not to get new struts. The best answer that I can give you is if you are going to drop your ride 4", you would need new struts. And get an alignment afterwards. Otherwise you will be eating tires like the cookie monster eats cookies. As for a camber kit???? Well..... it depends on how much camber you end up w/. I'm currently running -1.9 on the front, which some will say is a bit much, but w/ a proper alignment, you won't have anything to worry about, as it's the toe that eats tires, not a small amount of camber. _________________ DC4's are the shizzle!!
No, you don't need a fuel rail! Unless you are pushing some crazy numbers!!
