|
|
| I have a 1991 Acura legend, I love it to death but lately it's been giving me problems starting. Sometimes it will start right up then there's other times where it will not start at all. I've found that if I let it sit for a couple of minutes after it not starting that it starts right back up. I've had my battery checked and they say it's fine. I'm scared it's something serious. What could be the problem? if anyone knows, please help. I'm clueless! |

Might be your starter. What's it doing when it doesnt start? Is it turning over? Are the lights coming on? _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. - Mario Andretti |

| One minute I'll go and get in it and it starts right up but then when it seems to get warm it won't start. My lights come on fine, the battery was tested and was fine. I wish I could make the noise it gives so you could maybe see what I'm talking about. It's so hard to explain. The only way I can best describe it is you know when you start your car the noise it makes right before it starts? that's what it does. I've been told maybe it is the disturber cab? or like you said maybe it's my starter. Thanks for replying. |

If i had to put money on it i'd say your distributor coil or starter.
Good Luck with that _________________ If you feel like you're in control, you're not going fast enough. - Mario Andretti |

| It is your main relay. Until you replace it, you can remedy the problem on hot days by opening all the windows and letting the car ventilate for about 10 seconds. You can read more about the problem on the http://acura-legend.com forums and using the search function. |
