I have a '98 Integra GSR and am getting conflicting information from my mechanic and the local Midas shop regarding the status of my catalytic converter and O2 sensors. These things aren't cheap and I'd hate to spend a lot of $$ if I really don't have to.

I'm looking for an Acura/Honda guru in the NYC area to help me figure this out. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Isn't the idea of having your own mechanic supposed to be that you trust his/her personal judgement?

Also as general rule of thumb, I never trust a franchise (unless you PERSONALLY know an employee) because they will always tell you something is wrong, and then they do a crap a** job fixing it.
