Those "speed chips" you see on ebay for $10 or less is nothing but a 10cent resistor you can buy from radio shack. You supposidy put the resistor on your intake sensor so it thinks your taking in a lot of cold air and it sends more fuel to the cylinders. Notice the feedback of the people selling these, also notice if they make it a private auction. I mean you can try it if you want for $5 bucks or so but most of them are a rip off. _________________ *--The Driver Makes The Car, Not The Engine--*
That is the best answer on here. If you want to reprogram your ECU then you need to do it right. Techtom, AEM EMS, Hondata, are the big tuning tools. Most people are able to get by w/ just a FPR and some type of AFC. All of these that I have listed are best tuned on a dyno using a wideband O2 sensor...
The "best guess" chips will make your car run rich, as every engine is different and nobody can make a perfect chip w/out actually being right there to do it while on the dyno. _________________ DC4's are the shizzle!!
No, you don't need a fuel rail! Unless you are pushing some crazy numbers!!
